RAD2
The Bright Lights "Through Wires and Rooms"
SOLD OUT
The songs on this cassette were recorded onto four tracks in the months immediately leading up to, and following the recording of the S/T CD that was released by 555 Records in 2002. Various basements and bedrooms in Philadelphia, San Francisco, and New York City were the settings of beer soaked all night long recording sessions. Despite this, most of the songs were mastered by Rob Christiansen (Sisterhood of Convoluted Thinkers) at WNYC.
This cassette also featured some songs chosen from a performance aired live on WBAR in April of '002. This was not mastered, and should probably never be listened to by anyone, ever.
You may download the complete radio session HERE.

RAD1:
V/A "The Hello! Project"
Edition of 100

SOLD OUT
This compilation, the inaugural release of the Rub*A*Dub Tape Club, is inspired by and dedicated to all of the artists represented herein. As a member of Bright Lights it my distinct pleasure to play with these bands and get to know all of these wonderful and talented people. They took us in, gave us floors and couches to sleep on, many beers, and laughs enough for several lifetimes. While there are some conspicuous absences from this compilation (notably The Loveletter Band, with whom we toured the U.S. in 2002) they aren't exempt from these words or their essences at all...Just too busy for a little tape comp. action, i guess...While we are spread out across the U.S., around the world; from NYC to Olympia, SF to Philly, as far away as Sweden, and as remote as Flagstaff I hope this compilation with serve to bring us closer together, in spirit at least, with every listen. Punk Rock will never die as long as these people walk the Earth.
